Administration
The Administrator of Stz’uminus First Nation is the sole employee of Chief and Council Administration is the executive branch of the Nation. Administration carries out the policies mandated by Chief and Council in order to achieve and sustain its vision for the community. It has the authority for distribution of funds and is responsible for all core operations including the delivery of programs and services on reserve. The Administrator is directly responsible for 14 managers who oversee about 150 employees in 12 departments and two retail businesses. The Administration of Stz’uminus First Nation is dedicated to being open and transparent. The Administration痴 work is based on:
- Expanding our human resource capacity;
- Financial management in order to plan for generations;
- Evaluate performance of staff;
- Accountability and reporting to the community; and
- Creating diverse revenue sources.
